Plantronics m50 will not pair with htc

The battery is bad. Lithium batteries can show full and even be on the charger and power off when asked to do their job. Check your warranty and get a new headset.

My plantronics M50 won't charge anymore it was working fine. Is there anything I can do to repair it or reset?

Hear are the pairing instructions (see link below). I myself have a phone like that and the pairing worked fine.

The Plantronics Explorer 232 is compatible with the HTC Inspire. Once you make your phone discoverable, then put the headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. Here is a link for the pairing instructions:

You must make sure that the headset is flashing red / blue, that tells you that it is in pairing mode and ready to match with your cell phone.

Here is a solution that might work on your HTC Thundermug. The User's Guide indicates "activate bluetooth pairing mode by pressing the Power button". It should indicate to press and hold the power button. Pressing and holding resulted in the headset being recognized within 5 seconds by the HTC Thunderbolt. This is a problem with the User's Guide.

Try to re-pair the headset to your phone to make sure that it has a good connection. Before running through the pairing process, be sure to totally delete the headset from the Blackberry's menu. You may want the headset turned off for this process.

Once you make your cell phone discoverable, then put the Plantronics Voyager Pro headset into pairing mode by holding the power button until the headset flashes red and blue. Here is the link below for the Voyager Pro pairing instructions.

The Plantronics Explorer 330 doesn't have the A2DP technology (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) for streaming music, you need to look for a headset that has the A2DP Bluetooth profile built in like the new Plantronics M50. The Plantronics M50 is a new model which is now available and is in the $47 range.
