Reset filter I cleaned the filter on my air purifier and reinstalled it. Now every time I turn the thing on it says reset filter. I've cleaned it and cleaned it and made sure it's in correctly, but it still says reset. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance!!!

Re: reset filter

The solution is simple. Just press on the little red light that says to reset filter. Its a button that will reset the warning and the light should go out

Fresh air is reading perform cleaning. exactly what does that mean,I cleaned the filter and the plate but it stii reads perform cleaning.HOW

After you have cleaned the filter and plate, reassemble the purifier. Plug it in, turn it on, when the message perform cleaning reappears, press the Reminder Reset button on the purifier to clear the message. Now you are good to go for another 30 days.

Hi Wayne, glad to hear it's working again. Sometimes turning it off and let it sit for a while does clear some of the problems weird enough.

I'd appreciate your feedback.

My sharper image air purifier cleaning light comes on

Can you clarify the problem.. all I can see is

"My sharper image air purifier cleaning light comes... when it is clean"
The light that informs you that its in need of clearning comes on even though it is clean?

make sure the purifier is completely clean and reset it by unpluging it from the powersource for 30 minutes, the manual may include a reset process which might fix the problem.

Kaz Honeywell Tower Air filter rest light

When the filter monitor light remains on, it is time to check/clean the IFD™ filters and reset the filter
monitor, if needed. With the unit powered on, insert the tip of a ball-point pen or paperclip next to the LED
filter check light and hold for approximately 5 seconds until the light turns off (Fig. 3). Depending upon
your individual usage (environment and hours used), you may need to check and clean the filters more or
less frequently. If the IFD™ filters are cleaned before the filter monitor light turns on, the filter monitor
should be reset at the same time.
