If you purchased the washing machine new ! Than all major brands come with at least a one year manufacturer warranty against defects...if you attempt to fix it yourself you will void that warranty. .("all bad") do the smart thing and either contact the customer service department or service department or the manufacturer who will send a warranty service technician to repair it.

If it is brand new, Why could you not take it to the place you bought. You may have warranty replacement.

This is joyce

Indsit washingmachine: making scraping noise when spinning. metal drum inside feels loose and is leaning forward making it scrape on whatever is underneath. how do i stop the drum doing this?

If the inner drum is loose the bearing may have failed or the drum shaft spider may have broken. the scrapping will be the drum hitting the heating element.

Does my kenmore washer model #92389200 has a filter? It keeps leaving stains on the clothes like lint or soap residue and I read to clean it with vinegar I have put a gallon of white vinegar with hot...

it is not advisable to put actual bleach inside the washingmachine[or you could use a proprietary washing machine cleaner. Thepurpose of a maintenance wash is to remove any mold, bacteria, old detergentresidue and gunge. If using white vinegar, it is important to allow the washingmachine to fill for about 30 seconds before adding the vinegar, as the firstbit of water goes into the sump.

Too much water entering drum.

I am not sure what the problem is... one passibillity :It can be something blocking the pressostat (pressostat ... is the thing regulating the water... when the water is rising... ear pressure will increase in a small pipe leading up to the pressostat.) What can it be?...

if you have lime in your water it can block the intrance to the pressostat after som years. test if this is the problem..

if this is the problem . you chould also clean you machine with acid. Do a wash with asid on 95 degrees (ask for this in a washingmachine shop).. ..

Dirt: take out the small thin pipe(of gum) and clean it.. (the dirt blockin is always nearby drum)

Whirlpool washingmachine

Karen, start by removing the cold water hose to the inlet valve in back. It will have a screen in the inlet valve. Make sure the screen is clear of sand and debris. Start there and post back. Catriver.
