When I start the washer cycle on any cycle, it does nothing, doesn't fill, doesn't sound like its even moving. Dryer works fine. I checked power and I seen to have power coming out of thermocouple.

when washing machine is started ( after applying the wash settings as to water fill , load size rinse etc) the first action is to turn on the water tap solenoid
from there the water fills to the set level at which time the pressure switch turns of the water solenoid and switches on the motor to start the wash
following that line of procedure , if you do not get water flowing after pressing start, the problem is in the water control solenoid , tap turned off or problem in the program board
Call in a technician after checking the other items first

check for a clogged pump. follow the drain line connections to locate it. spin and rinse will not happen until after a majority of the soapy water has been removed

Water keep runing into the machine and exceed the required level setting. the machine will not start to washing is it that the water level in to high or does the water level setting control the washing...

put the washer on warm setting, start to fill washer, turn washer off,if it still keeps filling then you have a bad water inlet valve,if it turns off then check the water level hose from the head of the washer to the side of the outer tub, make sure both ends are on-mike

I've just moved house and my machine is not

Hello Friend, I think your machine will work properly if you add a water line splitter. You would connect to the single cold water tap and on the other end you would have two water hoses . Connect one hose to the cold water inlet of your washer and then connect the other hose to the hot water inlet. You can get these at Home Depot. Happy to help, Tim.

When error message 4E is displayed, you should clean the water hose mesh filter. To do this:

1. Turn off the water source to the washing machine.
2. Unscrew the hose from the back of the washing machine.
3. With a pair of pliers, gently pull out the mesh filter from the end of the hose and rinse it under water until clean. Also clean the inside and outside of the threaded connector.
4. Push the filter back into place.
5. Screw the hose back onto the washing machine.
6. Turn on the faucet and make sure the connections are watertight.

Also, please check the following:
• Make sure the source water faucet is turned on.
• Check the water pressure.

not the water hoses that connect to the water fausets of the house to the machine, it is a pressure hose that is inside the washer case, it connects to the switch that you select low medium and high water level, it then connects to the tub of the washer hope this helps

F & P GW712 - bowl spins, but won't fill.

Read your user manual - but I would suggest that you may not have setup the balance properly. Check the level of the machine and adjust to be as square as possible by adjusting the feet at the bottom. If the water isnt coming in on both hot and cold sounds like a common problem - perhaps the water level sensor is playing up or something else has been knocked during transportation of the machine when you moved house. Check your user manual for troubleshooting. Sounds dumb, but check that 'delay start' isnt selected also. check both hoses filters are not blocked.
