SOURCE: My jukebox doesn't play

DOCTOR-FIXCAN MAKE A COPY FROM MY ORIGINAL. MOST LIKELY YOUR PROBLEM IS THE LIGHT THAT COUNTS AS EACH CD PASSES. LOOK BETWEEN CD CAROUSEL, AND CD GRIPPER ARM. A CD MAY HAVE HIT THE METAL LEAVER THAT THE LAMP,
IS ATTACHED TO. YOU HAVE TO GET DOWN 0N IT WITH A MIRROR TO SEE THE LAMP, AND SEE IF THE METAL LEAVER IS NOT BENT. FOR COPY OF WURLITZER MANUAL, A CD RECORD PROBABLY HIT THE LAMP. 636 2273300. NAME IS SEYMOUR LEVITT COMPANY NAME IN-HOME JUKEBOX REPAIR. SEYLEVITT@JUNO.COM THIS IS A COMMON REPAIR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK.

SOURCE: the jukebox powers up but the buttons wont work

Is this a CD player or 45RPM? Is the display lighted? What is the display showing? The answers to these questions will help narrow down the problem. For additional assistance please email Rod Stebelton, tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

SOURCE: Hi the cds keep skipping

A bit obscure but did you undo the shipping bolts when you got the jukebox? It does sound like a laser fault though.

Code to initialize ami rowe jukebox

For full initialization, in service mode, press 3 to enter init. sub menu, type 0 for full initialization. Press popular, then put switch in normal position and initialization will begin. You can still select and play discs while initialization is in progress, providing you select from cd's already finished. The machine will continue initialization after selections are finished playing.

I purchased a used Wurlitzer 1015, question When selecting number 51 is a code number 82 and does not play can you explain me this, what the problem is thanks

The number of Cds in the carousel can be set on the Credit unit to stop it playing fresh air if for example you only have 50 Cds and not a whole 100. Sounds like yours is set to 50 so won't play anything over 50.
I 'think' this is what you do.
On the computer credit unit...
Service Switch ON...Press LT button.
Press 5 on the keyboard once.
Enter 0000
Service Switch off.
Press LT or turn machine off/on.

I have just purchased a wurlitizer 1050 omt 50 cd juke box . The previous owners have had it for approx. 10 years, and never had it serviced. My question is do I have it serviced. or leave I the way it is....

There are very few things you can do to service it. The only required thing is to clean the laser lense with a cotton bud and methelated spirits and dust your Cds regularly.

Random play can be switched on by a small on/off switch to the right of the Credit Computer which says "Continuous Play" on it. (but it depends on the age of the machine whether that is there. I can't remember how old it would be.)
