Question about Olivetti Lettera 25 Typewriter
Ribbon spool does not advance when keys are struck. I have ensured that there is not a snag anywhere in the spools visible from the top. When the bottom panel is removed there is a long rod that runs horizontally across the typewriter, when this is manually moved it does connect to the spool and initiates movement. When the keys are struck this long thin rod moves but not successively. So I reason that there is something wrong with advancement of this rod. Any ideas or schematics that would enable me to fix this problem are appreciated.
