SOURCE: whirlpool calypso no control panel lights or

Yes, this particular brand is notorious for this. the actual control boards were reconfigured to no avail.

Unfortunately, you will need to replace this failed control once more.

SOURCE: I have a CE error on the Calypso washer. I remove

First off is it under waranty and second you will need to find out what Ce stands for.Ask a repair shop and they might let you know what the code stands for.
No need changing something that don't need to be.
If it's not under waranty I would say yes you could replace it.The wires are usually all different and no way to get them hooked up wrong.(Note Just Make Sure It's Unlugged.)

Have you checked the door lock switch? If that fails, the control board will light up but wont let you start the machine as it thinks the door is still open.

Kenmore washing machine 80 Series 110 20802 990 Will not agitate or spin"

You need to replace the Kenmore Washer Lid Switch. I had the same problem so being lazy I would just push down on the washer's lid and it would push the lid switch further down. making the water drain. after a while I just replaced the lid switch.

Turn on ok. Press start and spin light blinking and beeping.

Several problems were found
1. the touch panel PCB board had tracks which were damaged by moisture and had it repaired for $50 (Aus); this affected the advance function on the washing machine.
2. Controller motor was replaced with a rebuilt one (since the touch panel kept on shutting down).
3. Make sure that the wire holding the harness reed switch is tight (this I think controls the level in the washing machine).

Well there is one of two control boards that is malfunctioning, most common is the Machine (or Main) control board, there is also a display pc board in the control panel, but i have had few problems with that control. Unfortunately the main board is $300.
