SOURCE: What is the ac polarity of a fujistsu lifebook

In household and commercial electronics 110-125 AC has no polarity unless there is a safety ground, in which case the green safety is connected to to the white wire via earth ground. Black is "hot" meaning if you touch it you will feel a shock because your body connects the circuit to ground. A laptop operates on DC power delivered from an AC-DC converter usually around 20 Volts dc and 3.5 Amps, and charges the battery as well. Polarity of your computer is positive tip meaning the fat part of the plug going into the jack is ground, or negative, and the center is positive. I hope this helps.

I have an IMac with a Fujistsu S1300. I upgraded the harddrive and now the scansnap application does not work. I have tried to re install the scansnap but it always gives the same message" General Error...

There might be a software package that you need to install that you can probably get from the Fujistsu main site. You'll need the drivers for the scanner. I think i've located the correct ones here:

http://www.fujitsu.com/us/services/computing/peripherals/scanners/support/downloads.html

You'll want to download the proper package. The top one should include the S1300, just make sure you're downloading the correct one. Once downloaded, install, and it should properly function.

My Fujitsu lifebook T902 keeps changing the screen brightness levels for no apparent reason.

I would think that if the virtual level controls are not changing, either the power socket/supply, back light or invertor has an issue.

My lifebook has a black screen but windows running

It could be the monitor or graphics card or CCL are done. Or maybe a simple small switch that shuts-down the light when the lid is closed. I repaired a HP that the switch had "stuck" in the closed position, you could see the screen in the bright sunlight and see the windows OS. The background light,CCL in older machines, was not lit. I once had to access the rear of the monitor, in a laptop, to re-insert a loose ribbon cable that had jared loose causing the screen to go dark.

How do you adjust the light and darkness of the screen

Pres and hold down Fn. While holding down the Fn key, press F8 to increase brightness or F9 to decrease brightness. If its not working, that means that your hotkey driver is not installed in the computer. With that you need to download the driver from the driver support website below:

http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/support.do?srch=DOWNLOADS

Hope this will help.
