SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I can't burn CDs (maybe one out of 10 will write). The computer gives an error code 0x8002006e . Turns out there's a lot of talk on the Apple site about this but nobody has an answer. The drive also isn't...

  • just press the cmd+alt+esc keys
  • in the window that appeare, choose the finder application and press the restart button
  • insert a blank cd-r and try to burn the cd from iTunes or the finder.

It seems like a workaround but because I'll never restart my Mac (I always use the standby) I don't have to restart the finder application everytime I want to burn a cd.

I hope the "snow leopard" will fix the problem!

hope that helps anyone out there ..

Error code 0x8002006E

There is no known fix for this.. Error burning CDs. It is caused by the 10.4.8 osx update.
Upgrading to 10.5 will solve your issue, but may mean spending cash, sorry.

I am downloading photos from photo library on to CD's. Some keep coming onto next CD's repeatedly, eg, Birthdays. When I go check CD's I've completed, some are gone?

I am not sure if you are using iphoto to do your downloading but if you are not it is the best way to burn CDs. What to do is within iphoto create an album with your required photos then select the album and then go to the share menu and then burn and follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

Problem burning DVDs

This happened to me also. I fixed the problem by buying new DVD discs, sometimes the mac's rom doesnt like particular discs. Its a trial and error thing with which ones it will use. Make sure you are using the latest version of Roxio toast to burn with, also make sure your ROM is DVD-R.

If all this fails, it could be your writer in the rom. Try burning a CD, if that works it will be the above problems.

Try using discs with a GOLD BOTTOM, it seemed to work for me.
