I would check for an exclamation point in device manager to make sure you dont have some driver issues, then if $$ allows, add more ram ddr 266 1gb in each slot. Your integrated graphics is using some of what little ram you do have, so, use that agp slot and fill it w/ @ least a 128 or 256MB vid card ati and nvidia cards with that amount of ram are fairly inexpensive now. Maybe also try superantispyware and avast free version if you have not checked for these possible problems already...

You need to find the manual online for your board. It will contain the information you need about your memory. Usually you don't mix DDR and DDR2 sticks... and DDR2 is far more stable and better. So I would just stick with that.
