Question about Microsoft ZUNE JS8BRPBDLUG MP3 Player
Hi I did the "soft reset", method, did every thing in Zune Support, updated software to 3.0 then opened the unit, did the "hard reset" by unplug/plug the battery line, waited until battery is TOTALLY drained, reset my PC to 2010 then recharged through pc usb (frozen logo appears again & the device cannot be sensed or found by zune new 3.0 software) , then unplugged, opened the unit then did the "hard reset" & then it worked! But after watching a whole 1 hr video, I recharged it back to PC usb , it still cannot be found by the zune program & worst of all ... the logo appeared again & froze again!!!!
What should I do help!!!
If I cant fix this, Is there any group willing to file a class action if Microsoft will not fix the units for free regardless if opened or pass due warranty?
What i tried was delete all the old music off your zune then put the music back. the best explanation i could give for this is that the crash deleted the data behind the placeholders so the music showed up but it was only the name not the song of itself. i hope this works for the rest of you and isnt just a temporary fix.good luck.

At this time, Microsoft still hasn't found a fix for it. They're having a lot of problems with the Zune 30 freezing up. Before you try to start a class action, at least give them some time to get you up & running again. They only found out about the problem on Tuesday. Starting a class action will only drive the prices up.
