SOURCE: Honda 3000 eu no spark replace ing coil still no

Is there enough oil in the crankcase? Many generator ignition problems come from the oil level sensor. Either not enough oil or the sensor being bad.

SOURCE: gas in oil

First of all check to see you have a good spark, If it is running fine under load ignition should not be an issue. If un burnt fuel or over fueling causes the oil / gas to wash down the cylinder walls. I would also perform a leakdown test not a compression test, remove the dipstick and listen for air coming out the crankcase, that will give you an idea if you ahve a ring problem. Also remove the air filter and see if you have any blow back from the carb blowing out where the choke butterfly is. If it has less than 150 hours on it, the rings may also not be seated in, try the above then run it hard on load and check it again

Just put a jumper wire across the switch and try it. If it works, then the switch is bad.

If my generator shut off due to low lubricant will it reset automatically? If not is there a reset valve/button?

The pull cord is like a starter on a car (separate from the motor/engine). If the pull cord will not turn it could be because the motor/engine is seized.

Honda eu 3000 won't run, cleane bowl, cleaned filter. fresh oil new plug got spark, will run for 10 seconds, the will not crank again. wait 20 min. it like crank an run 10 seconds?

i usually do a quick test of a small few onzes of fuel down the plug hole and reinstal plag and see if i9 fire up and run for a lil bit. maybe 5 -10 seconds. now i know i have spark . most usually our wonderful fuel is the problem. its just nasty now. it can stick a needle to the seat. it can hold her open . one way ya flood out. the other ya starv out. give it a try.

Gas in the oil on my honda generator

Your needle/float is stuck, which will allow fuel to flow though the intake...past the piston..and into the crankcase. If has been awhile since you used it, most likely the gas has gummed up the insides of the carb. Otherwise, you may have had something get into the fuel bowl that is keeping the needle from closing. Best way to solve is to remove and clean the carb. Replace fuel filter if needed also.
Hope this helps
