Question about Apple iPod nano MP3 Player

When i plug in my chromatic it wont connect

Whenever i plug in the chromatic nothing happens. It just stays the same, even the ipod screen stays the same, it doesnt say connected or anything. HELP ME !

It could be a USB port problem or the cord is just bad. first check to see if it is the USB port. If it works they YAY! if not, check to see if you still have warranty on your laptop/PC. if you don't the hehe your fault... Next check to see if it is the cord. you can do this by plugging someone elses Ipod into a different PC/Laptop. if neitherof these are your problem the go to customer service at apple of bestbuy(Apple recommened)

Apple Ipod Nano Chromatic Frozen on black screen.


Try reseting it, It worked for me. Hold down the "Menu" button and the middle button for about 7-8 seconds.

My itouch wont respond to me when i touch it.


my ipod touch (16gb) did the same thing. it has a large crack in the screen though. someone pushed me, and it fell out of my hands. for awhile it worked perfectly.. until it got froze onm that screen as well.

You are doing the reset wrong. Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps!

Repeatedly resetting itself is one of the classic symptoms of an incomplete restore or update process. You unplugged the device from your computer before it had fully synced, thus it has corrupted.

This is not a fatal problem, though.

You need to force the nano into recovery mode, which will (unfortunately) clear your data from it and restore to factory settings. The detailed procedure for this can be found here:

If you want to give a go at restoring before full-blown recovery (although from your description I doubt it will work), try the instructions on this page:

My i-pod nano chromatic 8 GB is stuck!:S


Press and hold the Menu and Centre buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears. (This usually takes between 5 and 10 seconds.)

i have the SAME problem but i bought mine 5 days ago so its suppsd to be brand new!! ='[ *sob* it just got 'stuck' all of a sudden and wont respond to anything! :S

Videos wont play


1. go to "videos" on ur ipod
2. press "tv out" until u see off next to it
3.then go to "TV screen".. press wide screen
4.then press "fit to screen"
5.watch ur movie

ok same thing happen 2 me.

hold the menu and center button for 25 seconds.
That will reboot it without damaging your data.
