It means the LCD does not like the resolution or refresh signals from your video card. Try a resolution like 1024 x 768 at 60 or 72 Hz refresh.

How do i turn it on in range? the speaker is not connecting to my phone because it says it needs to be turned on in range and i dont know what that means

'not in range' means that there's something between emitter and receiver that prevents signal to reach. Also that could mean that emitter simply doesn't work.

Out of range

Ok. My problem was that the main phone and answering machine worked fine, but the second handset kept saying, "Out of range" no matter what I did. If I tried to make a call, it would say, "Connecting...", but after a while, "Out of range".

I followed the manual which offers two mechanisms to deregister the phone. The first method (press Menu soft key...) went through the motions and then said, "Out of range"!

The second method in the manual worked - after I worked out what the instructions mean!

So here's the answer:

Take the phone out of the cradle (charger). Press and hold simultaneously for more than 5 seconds the red telephone-symbol key and the # key.

You will hear a confirmation tone and DE-REGISTRATION COMPLETE appears.

Now go to the OTHER phone (the MAIN phone). Take it out of its cradle and put the deregistered second handset in the MAIN cradle. The window displays a few messages and then REGISTRATION COMPLETE.

After that, for me, everything worked.

Dear I did everything mentioned above but still light is red

Hi Friend, In this case I would recommend you to please reset the range expander once again and connect the range expander with the ethernet cable once again. Match the settings of the router to the range expander I mean while configuring the range expander, the wireless network name and the wireless key should be same and the channel should be same and the security type should be same.
If it still doesn't work then I would recommend you to please try to change the channel to 1 or 9 or 11

Dell flat panel monitor -power button blinks green to amber - no

One reason that this is happening could be that it is on Power saving mode. This happens when the LCD monitor detecs an incorrect timing then thats the time that the LCD goes blank and the power botton starts to blink.

what you need to do is to turn the computer off. Unplug cables attach to the LCD make sure it is also off, once done press the power botton for a couple of 30secs to a minute and then release. After doing so re-connect all the cables and make sure that both ends is tight and secure once everything is ok turn the computer on same with the monitor to check if it solves the problem.

Out of range

Hi,

If there is no hardware issue, this message indicates that your PC's Screen resolution settings (and/or Refresh Rate) are above the capability of the monitor. This can be corrected by booting into Safe Mode (F8) and lowering as necessary.

Good luck and kind regards.

Input Signal Out of Range

I have been having the same problem with my hpvs17 monitor when i start to use my web browser on linux distros. Now, for the next few days i am going to try my system on a regular crt monitor. if the monitor does not crash, than i will have to say that the hpvs17 monitor has a defect. It seems that when i go online, while i am in the middle of searching something, the monitor just shuts off and i get "input signal out of range".

I was adjusting picture on monitor and now picture completely messed up

  • Signal out of Range.
  • Out Of Scan Range
  • Horizontal frequency is out of range.
  • Cannot Display This Video Mode Out of Sync

This issue may occur if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video adapter setting for updating the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor.
you should reinstall your video drivers in safe mode.

To restart in safe mode repeatedly press the F8 key during the computer startup. This will bring a menu where you'll be able to choose safe mode.

Monitor out of range

Most commonly, this problem is caused by an incorrect refresh rate setting. LCD monitors typically DO NOT support refresh rates higher than 60hz - and this is no exception. Try running the game in "safe mode" if it has one. Adjusting the in-game video settings should solve the problem, just look for a screen refresh rate or any video-related setting with a number followed by "hz". Set it to 60, everything should be fine.

It could also be that at some point the game changes resolution (this frequently occurs if there is an in-game movie or cut-scene). In this case the resolution settings for the in-game movie might be at fault, check them if you can.
