Question about HP Photosmart C6280 Printer
Just trying to print, as usual. Shows need to change cartridge. Did that and now keeps telling me to "insert memory card." I don't have a memory card and have never had one in order to print

SOURCE: HP C6280 says out of black ink
Something is wrong with your Blach carrier or connections. Use a bit of alcohol and clean the array of gold contacts where the Ink cartridge plugs in. Most of the pins are shutter and piezo control (get the ink on paper) but a few do other stuff like check ink level, # of hours runtime, etc. This is very common problem with inkjet printers. Hope this helps.
Also... rub the contacts on the printhead with a pencil eraser to make them shiny and bright.

SOURCE: Align Cartridge Always Shows Up
The message won't go away until it completes the alignment. If any colors are not printing it won't pass the alignment. you can bypass the message but it will keep coming up until the alignment is satisfactory.

I have reinstalled software for my HP Officejet 7310 printer and in the final stages I get a 1706 error indicating I am missing a file called "scan.msi". Any suggestions?
