Question about HP Compaq Presario SR2011WM PC Desktop
This PC is very strange. Sometimes it boots up just fine with no issue. Other times it boots up but produces no video and no beeps. If I put in a DVD, the DVD reads like it is going thru all the normal boot up activities, just no video. The video is from the motherboard--no add-in card.
My guess is it looks like the MB video circuitry is faulty. I did run the MS RAM test for two hours and no fault was found. Any other ideas? The machine has worked with no issue since it was purchased a year ago
Check the video driver/accelerator for that board. if it is an intell video accelerator go directly to intell to get the latest driver... hp doesn't seem to like to give you the best one for your system.
www.hp.com to have a look... reinstall the driver
the other option as your computer is not throwing beep codes at you... is that your monitor is failing.
