Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player
I turn on my mp3,and all it says is "building database" like it should normally do,butinstead of going to music,it just keeps on with"building database"..ive tried to reset manually, and it does shut off,but when i turn it back on,ame thing
An unwanted file (like a virus) on the player's storage could cause this problem.
A quick solution would be to run a virus scan using an Antivirus when the player is connected to the computer. If still the problem persists, try manually analyzing the files on the player. Sometimes, weird things like even a word document could stop the player from loading.
Wondering how a word document could go into a player? Just try to remember whether you used the player as a pen-drive for transferring files!
If you are not sure which files are unwanted, feel free to list out the files that's on the player. I will try my best to locate the culprit for you :)
