Question about Weslo Cadence Ct 5.8 Treadmill
The control panel won't stay on the legs. The legs are loose. The treadmill is so loose it is not safe to transport it.

You have to put the speed all the way down. Hold down the start button for 10 seconds till it stops blinking and then hit start again and move the speed up. It's a child safety feature on the treadmill.

this types of problem occurred due to reason given below:-
1) if your motor belt too jammed. motor need more power to rotate it.
2) motor internal coil insulation problem.
3) semi short circuit in the internal control circuit.
how to check :-
at first look the label on motor try to find out the motor Ampere then measure with a ammeter if it drawing current is high from label mentioned ampere
then motor is faulty.
for check the circuit if u don't have any previous idea plz contact with qualified technical person.

It's laborious, takes a little time. With 2 people who know what they're doing, an hour or so, under and hour if it goes smoothly. With one amatuer, probably most of the day.
With a Weslo, I don't recomend it, simply because it's not worth the repair.

check the outlet first by plunging in a light to make sure their is power and that the house breaker was not tripped. then plug in the power cord next locate the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. Switch the circuit breaker to the reset position. Then place safety key on console and the display should light up if not then you may have a lower board problem.
