SOURCE: Washer machine Siemens model: WM

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Here are my general guidance notes for a possible cure ;-0)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Looking for English manuals for Siemens WM 14S44P and Siemens WT 46W5F1.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but this forum does not supply manuals direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home, with experience of addressing problems ;-0)

You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
Good luck,
John C

I have a Siemens Washing Machine WM 1000. After a good service it has a problem now. The container is not spinning though it sounds like the motor is running. It has happened suddenly. Perhaps the gear...

There might be a problem in the pump, which drains the water. to confirm it, please manually release the water, by opening the bottom right port, Then try if the spinning is working. The pump approximately costs Rs. 1600/- approx. please check & confirm. Regards, Sivaraman H, Bangalore-560016. Mobile number: 9845228625

The soap powder in my washing machine is not getting dissolved. This is a front load A07-16 electronic model.

This will be due to one of three causes.
  1. You are using an incompatible wash powder for your machine. If you're in India (the WM A 0716 was an India-only model) then some of the cheapest domestic brands are really poor quality and some of the established major brands are counterfeit products.
  2. Most powders contain some insoluble components which should be rinsed out, so the rinse cycles are not working correctly. This can happen if the wash load is too big for the machine and fails to allow space for the rinse water to circulate, otherwise it's likely a machine fault.
  3. The wash cycle is too cold. You have either selected too low a temperature or the machine has a failed heating element.
If the machine is faulty then you will need to contact Siemens for repair.

How do i hook up to the internet without using the

I don't know this exact phone model, but it must have a comm manager (an application which turns phone, bluetooth, and wi-fi on and off). If you don't find any, check your '\Windows' directory for 'wrlsmgr.exe'. It is the default WM's Wireless Manager. Anyway, run any of them and turn the phone part off. Soft reset your device. If the dialer still comes up, tap ok on the title bar.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

I have Siemens WM 2000 E. When using the hotwash cycle at 40 or 60 degrees the machine stops and two lights start blinking.

The ECU is likely damaged in this case.
