Hi Vic! This is a rather simple. Grip the stick portion of the cleaner with one hand and the nozzle with other. Then pull apart. The nozzle is assembled on the stick portion by friction.
Hope this helps!

My Bissell carpet shampooer will not dispense water or cleaning solution, nor is the "flow indicator" spinning

most of the Bissell carpet cleaners that have the water heating feature stop pumping water at one time or another. Make sure the belt is still on the pump and if it is then the problem is probably in the heater core in the handle. Hard water deposits plug the tiny little water ways inside the heater core. Pull the heater core and take it apart and clean it with a strong scrub brush and I think vinegar works for cleaning I was told. I just use soap and a brush. Then flush all your lines with hot water. The cause is from hard water deposits or leaving the soap in the cleaner after you use it. Both will stop it from pumping water

My vacuum lost suction and I need to know how to pull it apart to see what's clogged. it is clear all the way to the intake section. I can not figure out how to pull it apart. it is a hoover model #...

Go on-line and "hunt" the user guide. Also check the brush and look for hair, strings etc. caught in and on the roller. This is often a problem and can clog up your machine.

Good Luck!

Hoover Windtunnel Tseries cord pulled out too

In the case of where you have decided to "fix" it yourself the best thing is to make small drawings of what goes where as you take things apart. Lay out a white towel and put all the parts on it in the order you removed them. To keep from loosing screws you can screw them back in their holes you took them out of, or lay them in order next to the part you took off. Sometimes there may be longer screws. On your drawings indicate where they go. You don't have to be an artist, just as long as you can understand what you've drawn. As far as the switch is concerned it's either a safety feature or there is a wire pulled part way out and is pushed or pulled back into place when you lean the handle back. Now, understand that there are flat metal "clock" springs that are wound up tight on the part the end is attached to. Whatever you do pay close attention to what is going on just as you begin to open the housing up that holds the cord. If the clock spring is attached to something that may come loose as you pull it apart, it's liable to come off of the winding mechanism and completely unwind suddenly. I've had this happen before. And you never know how many times to wind it up in order for it to be able to pull the cord back in the housing quickly like it did when it was working.

Belt replacement Hoover carpet cleaner

Hoover steamvacs don't use belts. If the brushes are not turning, pull the brush block out, turn the machine on and see if the square hole where the brush block was, is turning. If not then the turbine is bad. Sometimes you can take the turbine apart and clean it out. most times I have found , replace it.

Sounds like you have a clog in the hose or down by the brush roll, the dirt inlet maybe clogged.
