My satellite m100 cannot boot up, it keeps rebooting

I'm using Toshiba Satellite M100 model, my laptop cannot start up. It keeps rebooting after flashing of the blue screen. Because it flash too fast, so i couldn't read the error on blue screen. I search on internet that they asked for changing the SATA mode to ATA instead of AHCI, but i couldn't find the way to change this setup. Please advise me, your comment is highly appreciated. Thanks.

I want to know; 1) Has the laptop ever been cleaned inside? Taken apart, and cleaned? Was the Thermal Pad removed, parts cleaned, and new, fresh Thermal Paste applied? 2) Are there bad Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard? I go with hardware failure. It often emulates software problems, and confuses the h3ll out of 'techs'. (Ha) Post back in a Comment. A)http://capacitorlab.com/visible-failures... B)http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/To...

Alf, you are asking about multiple issues with different computers in the same thread and also requesting off Forum help via email. This is just confusing and I don't see any way to help you other than pointing this out.
Good luck.

If you would like to make use of the SATA controller's AHCI features, you should enable this BIOS feature. But please note that enabling this feature requires you to load the SATA controller driver during the Windows XP installation routine.
If you do not intend to use the AHCI features, it's recommended that you disable this BIOS feature. This allows you to use the native Windows XP driver. You won't need to load the SATA controller driver during the Windows XP installation routine.

Two beeps a generally a memory parity error.

Use a test utility like memtest86 to check it. Youll need another computer with a CDRW to create a test disk from an ISO.
Then boot the computer with the cd in and it should run from CD.

Bios password for toshiba satellite M100

You can reset the BIOS password. To do that read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper and I wouldn't recommend doing it especially if it's under warranty.

My toshiba satellite M100 keep turn off, why?

I use a Satellite. They are not heat friendly. Use canned air to blow out the vents on the side & back and blow out the fans on the bottom. Get a cooling fan for under the computer. Try to use it on a firm or hard surface since a soft surface won't allow air flow. Blow it out at least every 2 weeks.
