The wii remotes wont hook up to the wii so now we cant do anything. We tried everything. We tried to zero them in let the wii cool down after our last play and hooked everything up again. It still wont work
Yes, I agree, if you haven't synced your remote(s) then I reccomend doing so. If you have and that doesn't work, find out if another remote would work on your Wii. If that doesn't work try bringing your Wii back to the store you bought it at, with the warrenty. They should give you a new Wii, or your money back.

make sure that your sensor bar is in a position where your wii remote can see it. also, make sure it is above the television or below the television. you have to set where you put it in the wii settings for the remote to be accurate
your best option would be to format wii system memory. this will however erase all channels and data. you can fin this option by clicking the wii button on the lower left corner of the main menu. select wii settings, the go to page three by clicking the + button twice. then selct format wii system. after that download the netflix channel again and everything should be normal. please note that formating wii system will erase everything and set it to out of box settings.
The remote has to be sync'd with the wii properly. If you sync it with another wii you have to sync it back.
Open the battery cover on the wii remote.
Open the front cover door in the middle front.
In each you will see a Red circle sync button in the remote and a rectangle button above the memory slot on the wii front.
Turn on wii, press the sync button on front of wii, then press sync button on remote, the remote should then get a signal and blue lights on front show player #. If not, turn off and try again. Once sync'd it will work with that Wii.

I love the way this works - if everything is plugged in properly, the remote control will be detected by the sensor and you should see an arrow on the screen that you can move by physically moving the remote. Use this to point the arrow to "English", then click "A", then move it again to "confirm" (...or is it "OK"?).
