Not to sound daft, but have you replaced the batteries in it? Dying batteries cause all sorts of problems in remotes.

Our Wii remote hand is not appearing on the screen. We don't know what to do?

Make sure all devices are connected to the Wii Station correctly and securely. Make sure the batteries in the wii-mote are working and the light is on.
Trying moving the wii-mote sensor to the top of the TV if its on the bottom or vice versa and try again.
If none of that works try bringing the wii-mote to a friend who has a console and trying it there, if it doesn't work then there might be something wrong with that wii-mote. If it works then ask someone to bring a wii-mote to your console and try it, if that doesn't work then there might be something wrong with the console or the receiver.
Good Luck!

Gant get past language selection

This screen requires you to use motion controls, meaning you have to actually have the sensor bar set up properly, and then physically point the wii-mote at the buttons you want to select. You cannot use the arrows.

If you are having trouble getting the wii-mote to point, be sure that your sensor bar is in the correct position, that you are at least three feet away from the sensor, and the remote is one. If all three of those things apply, turn your system off, let it sit for a minute or two, then turn it on and try again.

If the problem persists, try syncing the remote via the remote's instructions.

My wii won't connect to the wii remotes - batteries have been changed

The wii motes and wii console may need to be re-synced. To do this, press the red button on the wii console which is located behind the front panel. The button is right next to the SD card slot.
Then turn on the wii motes so that the blue lights are blinking. Next, push the red button on the wii motes which is located behind the battery cover. This should sync the wii motes to the console.

Controllers wont sync

If you have pressed the sync button on wii, then on the wii-mote, and it still didn't sync, try unplugging the Wii console for few minutes and try the process again.
There is another syncing mode, but you have to have at least one wii-mote connected to the wii. You press the home button and the click on the wii-mote on the screen. There will be a reconnect button. Press that and then press both the 1 and 2 buttons on the wii-mote[s] you want to connect. This is the ONE TIME ONLY connect mode, used when playin on a friends Wii. Once the Wii is powered off, the wii-mote wont be connected any longer and will still be the default wii-mote for your wii system [not on your friends]. Hope this helps.

How to reprogram on my wii-mote??

Do you know where the SD Card slot is? If not, it's at the front just below the disc drive. Open the SD card slot entrance on the front, and take the back off the wii-mote. Turn the wii on, and at the health warning, hold the sync button on the wii-mote, and the one near the SD slot for 5 secconds. That should do it.

Wii conrollers

Hold the wii mote like you're going to hit something with it, then slap the back of the wii mote into the palm of your other hand a couple of times. Not too hard to hurt yourself though. One of our wii motes wouldn't steer properly in Mario Kart and slapping it a couple times made it work. If that doesn't work, make sure your sensor bar is plugged in all the way and the location is configured correctly in the menu.
