Won't raise caroussel and eject. No bad noises, just no action.
Took off top and front and can't access back area where CD's are removed by machine. Top plastic piece of the area that holds caroussel is a one piece plastic that can't be removed. All little belts that are visible are good.

Look to see if there is a tiny hole on the front of CD player just under the tray.that is the access point for a paper clip.if there isn't one...try turning ignition off then whilst holding the eject button turn on the ignition and do not release eject button.
you may need to try this several times.what you are trying to do is beat the cd from trying to read the cd as this seems to over ride any eject commands on some machines.if all of the above fail you may need to remove entire unit from dash to gain access .
Have a look for a small hole in the front of the CD player - this is the emergency eject button. Find a paper clip, unwind it and then press the paper clip through the hole - the CD should then eject the first CD and you will then be able to eject the others.
Remove the disc drive from the console. Remove the cover very carefull. Take the top part off (remove the 5 screws) and open the disc drive like a book.
Carefull remove the guide mechanism (the front part -1 screw).
The clicking noise is caused by the fact that the left side mechanism that raises and loweres the deck when the disk is inserted or ejected is stuck. Carefull push back the piece of plastic with teeth located on the left side of the deck (as you are looking at the disk drive the oposite side with the lens driving motor) until it clears complete the plastic round gear that drives that part.
mount back the guide mechanism, and the top part.
Attached the ribbon cables to the unit , power the console and keep the eject button pushed for about 10-15 seconds.
That will reset all the gears and stuff.
Worked for me when I experienced that issue.
Disc Eject Prohibit: This feature keeps the disc from ejecting even if the eject button is pushed. The disc eject prohibit feature is engaged/disengaged by pressing the CD and Eject buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
