Estimate to replace ac/heater blower motor

Cost of the new motor plus half hour to 45 minutes labor time- just depends on what is in the way of getting to the blower motor. It is usually a pretty easy job, the fan blower assembly is retained by 3-5 screws. Take it out and put fan assembly on new motor, then reinstall.

What is the approximate cost of labor to replace blower motor

Over here in Austria it would cost you about 100 Euros + the blower which is about 150 Euros. You may check the cables, connections and fuses first.

My blower fan only works on high?

Have the blower motor resistor replaced, part cost-$25.00, labor .50 hour. It is behind the glove box and very easily accessible. Don't let anyone say your blower is bad. The resistor controls voltage to the motor.

My blower motor will only blow on level 4 and 5. 1,2 and three

Inside the blower housing under the dash by the floor is a resistor that fits inside the housing. It gets damp and burns open. Cheap to buy part, takes a contortionist to replace. I managed, and I'm old. It has two wires going to it.

Heater blower quit working

U will need a new switch, a new connector to the switch, a new blower motor and a new blower motor speed control resistor to fix this right, about $200 for parts and 2 hours labor time, so in my area about $400. my local labor rate is $100-125 per hour.

Heat levels..

need new technician.if the blower motor works even with only one speed than the blower motor works and did not need replacement.sounds like blower motor resistor or resistor wiring, when there is a problem with the resistor or wiring you will only have one speed, this way you atleast have heat.so if your tech replaced the blower motor when it worked and did not need replacement then it sounds like he is just throwing parts at it,you have to wonder if he really checked anything.have the resistor and wiring checked and if ok then check the heater control head and wiring.

Help with a noisy Fisher & Paykel dryer

I have the same problem. Replacing the front glides (two glides cost under $20 plus labor and service call). The second time it seems to be more than the front glides. Service tech says that it is the blower moving back and forth on the motor shaft. (Because of a worn indentation on the shaft..). Therefore, he says that I must replace the motor and the blower--parts cost approx. $290, plus labor and service call. Ouch! Also says that the plastic front support piece is worn. More money! So, I am looking at a new dryer instead of trying to patch up the one I have (it's out of warranty.)
