It sounds like the rollers are dirty and need to be cleaned to be cleaned ( A Q-TIP and achol will do fine) getting the tape out can be tricky because its unwound inside of unit you may have to take unit apart and cut the loose tape then eject

Try to clean out the coin trap and drain lines first.

1. Unplug the unit.

2. Tilt the unit up to where the front feet are in the air and the back feet are still on the ground. Please make sure the unit is propped up safely.

3. Now that the unit is propped up look inside on the bottom right hand side there is a black looking accordion thing. This is the coin trap.

4. Clean the drum out with as much water as possible and have towels ready. The next step you will have the remaining water come out.

5. At the top of the coin trap where it is attached to the drum is a silver spring with a silver screw. Loosen the screw and wiggle the coin trap down from the drum.

5. Reach inside the coin trap and clean what is inside of it out.

6. Put the unit back together following the same steps backwards

Tape Stuck

I've checked the entire user manual which notes problems like this need to be referred to authorized service personnel. Myself, I would unplug the entire unit, put it on a kitchen table using a phillips (cross-tip) screwdriver to remove the top metal shell. Remove at least 2 screws each side and 2-5 rear screws securing the top. Nothing like peering inside to see what is causing the VCR to get stuck and help remove it. No release pinhole or tape freeing ejector will work if the unit's tape is tightly wound around some internal object or the tape is stuck because something foreign is inside the unit. Why washer leak from the bottom

You would need to try to clean out the coin trap in the bottom of the unit.

Need tub capacity

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Measuring tape

1.

Measure the depth from inside the washer with a measuring tape. Start from the back of the inside of the washer towards you to the front of the washer. Measure the depth from a top loading washer from the bottom of the inside of the washer to the top. For example, a washing machine may have a depth of two feet.
2.

Measure the height inside the washer unit. The height inside the washer is from the bottom of the inside of the washer to the top of the inside of the washer for a front loading washing. The height is from one side of the inside of the washer to the other side in a top loading washer. For example, the inside of a washer may be one and a half feet, or 1.5 feet.
3.

Divide the height calculated in step 2 by two, and square it. In the example, 1.5 divided by two equals 0.75, and 0.75 to the power of 2 equals 0.5625.
4.

Multiply the number calculated in step 3 by the depth of the washing machine. In the example, 0.5625 times two equals 1.125.
5.

Multiply the number calculated in step 4 by Pi to determine the capacity. Pi is generally estimated as 3.14. In the example, 1.125 times 3.14 equals a washer capacity of 3.5325 cubic feet

I just need to know how to erase tapes (audio) with a realistic tape eraser cat. no. 44-233A???

1. Plug into a standard 110-120V AC power outlet.
2. Select a tape [or similar small object]...
3. Hold the eraser in your hand and squeeze the trigger. The red light indicates that the unit is operating.
4. While squeezing the trigger, place the bottom of the eraser in contact with the item to be erased. Move the eraser slowly in a circular motion over the entire product area but do not release the trigger yet.
Make circular passes arount the tape for approximately 10-20 seconds, then slowly withdraw the eraser until it is about three feet away from the tape. Now release the trigger.
5. Turn the cassette or diskette over and repeat steps 3 and 4.

When i put a tape in it beeps then would not eject

Ether the tape is cought inside the camera or the eject motor is not releasing the tape inside try the following

1. Take battery out
2, put it back in and press the eject but with the camera up to your ear.

If you hear it trying to eject the tape got ate inside the unit best thing here to do is take it to a camera shop have them extract the tape.

Hope this does help please do make sure you rate before you leave.

I have a Sony DCR-TRV250 Digital Handycam Camcorder. Currently a tape is stuck in it and the camcorder won't eject it. The tape unit comes out but won't open.

I got the tape to eject by removing the battery from the camcorder, putting it back on so that the tape would go back inside the camera. Then I had the tape eject again. Several times the tape would not be ejected but I repeated my steps until the camera released the tape.

I do believe my vcr has died. I had a tape in and it stopped and took awhile until it would release the tape to let it come out. I pushed it back in and after 5 mins it did the same thing and didn't...

You may have already done this but I have run across VHS cassettes that a unit just wouldn't load and play. Try another cassette to see if it responds the same way.
