Audio fades and gets "fuzzy" every ten or fifteen minutes

It occurs on every channel. Corrects itself in a minute or less each time.

Hello,

You may want to try to re-autoprogram the television's channel memory. It memorizes and locks to the exact frequency of the channels you are trying to watch. The TV may be trying to fine tune the station until it locks to it, which may be causing the fuzzy audio.

Also, if the audio leveling or compression is on in the menu (the little music note icon in the menu is the sound options), then try turning it off. This compression may be reacting to the over-driven audio from the cable company.

Hope this helps. Give it a shot and post the results if you would like.

LG 42LC7D-UB after few minutes the sound goes off and channel change by itself

When heats up, the supply voltage from the main power supply board goes less. Check all the soldering to this board for any loose solder terminals. Resolder all the suspected solder terminals by applying a little more solder. If it do not help you, replace the board as card basis.

When I first turn my tv on the picture is extremely fuzzy for about the first fifteen minutes and then it's fine can anyone tell me what the problem is

Sounds like if you are connected via a coax fitting you may have a bad tuner in the set--if issue is not there when a DVD is used you may be able to get around the issue by routing signal thru the rear audio and video input jacks the set should have.

When I turn on my Samsung PN50A550 the screen has all different colors, it makes a screeching sound then turns on and off a few times before it corrects itself and then works just fine. What kind of repair...

hello, at this point the price of the bill is uncertian but it seems to be a one of your internal boards is going bad either way it needs service if your able to get a picture and sound after a few minutes then your set is repairable but the price depends on the actual board thats affected, these sets have power board, video audio boards and other boards that control the video signal going into the display, it would help to have a service manual and look at the individual boards to indentify the trouble, on thing you can do is search the auction site for a same type and model tv with a broken screen usually run like 150 or even less and have a tech exchange the part or parts.. hope this helps

TV does not turn on right away it takes ten to fifteen minutes to get it to turn on.

Phillips has a reputation for faulty power supplies. Most likely there is a bad capacitor or a cold solder connection in your power supply which only works when it comes up to temperature.

Vizio 42" LCD with Screen problem

Find the LCD Controller board (TCON). Disconnect the cables from it to the LCD panel. Carefully re-connect them. Make sure the cable is properly positioned in the connector. You may have to do this several times to get it work. The flat cables are a problem.
