SOURCE: I have a Toshiba satellite L675-S7048, My son

You should have shut down and removed the battery off the notebook and then decided whether the laptop keyboard can be removed. There are a whole set of screws and latches with delicate flexible strips to connect that must be carefully removed. if you are confident and is equipped, remove them , make a note of the procedure and open the keypad. Now dry and clean the pads, make sure there is no moisture present before you see the covers back.
It must solve the issue unless the damage was done.

My laptop screen won't urn on

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen

The display on my L675 S7048 is flickering badly. My whites turn pink, and my blues turn green. I see it when windows starts, even the Microsoft logo has tiny green dots all around it. When I connect an...

WHITE is a mixture of the three "primary" colours.
If one of the colours is not working, then WHITE turns PINK.

So, either your LCD display is malfunctioning,
or the "data" cable between the LCD and the motherboard is malfunctioning (not transmitting all 3 signals),
or the video-card embedded into the motherboard is malfunctioning (not sending all 3 signals).

This is nothing that you can fix by yourself; take your computer to a qualified technician, for trouble-shooting and repair.

How do I replace the keyboard?

next to the F1 key and the windows key (2nd upper key and second to last key) are two screws, usually under some covering. unscrew and lift top edge of the keyboard towards the trackpad to lay face down. Undo the wire ribbon by lifting the grey or brown tabs and remove ribbon and keyboard. Then install the new keyboard by inserting the ribbon on the place. Lock down with the tabs and put the plastic prongs (close to the space bar) into the laptop body first, and then close keyboard onto the final position. screw back in and thats all. nboulikas@gmail.com for any additional questions.
