How do I replace the lamp in a Mitsubishi WD65833 model


915P061010 part number for lamp, remove Philips head screw from lamp door in rear of set. YOU will find the lamp under door. Pull out, install new lamp, reinstall Phillips screw. Plug TV back in.

The overall picture is not bright like it use to be. like about half the brightness. picture is fine just not bright


suggest replacing the lamp. when the lamps are reaching the end of their life the tv will take a long time to show a picture and you may see a drop in brightness. part number 915P061010 i would really suggest getting a mitsubishi original lamp there are alot of generics out there and they are junk. good luck

Hi,Is your tv close to 3000-4000 hrs 1-2yrs.If

its it might be time to replace the lamp.Your

part # is 915P061010 Make sure you get the

Philips lamp because it last longer 6000-8000 hrs.There's other components that

tend to go bad like the ballast which is the

board that powers the lamp.When that is

bad it will make continuous clicking noises

or attempts to light up the lamp.But if you

dont hear any of that then most likely its just

the lamp that needs to be replaced.Have a

blessed one!

Hi,if you hear constant clicking or trying to turn on it could be your ballast.But if tv is between 1 yr -2 yrs maybe its time to replace the lamp.This will be the part number you need 915P061010 you can find it in discount-merchant to get the Philips lamps that normally last 2-4 yrs.God bless. Most times it will be physically busted inside. Sometimes not and you will have to replace it to know. If the lamp light is flashing, chances are pretty good that is all that it is. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
