HP Photosmarty D7360 - spring on paper tray broke

There's a tension spring on the bottom on the printer that works with the paper tray - it fell off when i pulled out the letter tray to add more paper. Does anyone know how to get to this part of the printer so I can put the spring back?

This is possible but hard to explain in writing, best thing to do is go back to the store and hope that they will be able to do it for you as a service.

Photosmart D7360 leaks black ink out the bottom of the case, below where printer head parks. Otherwise works fine.

Its a sponge in the drip tray underneath the print head. It tends to fill up, especially if you're cleaning your print head quite often.

Its full of ink, and so needs to be dried out. The easiest way would be take it out, rinse it under the tap and leave it somewhere warm to dry out.

If you can't take it out, try and decant the ink, blotting paper, sponge as best you can and give it a while to dry.

Hp laserjet 4250n paper jam in 13.01.00

According to the manual: "A 13.01.00 error message indicates that the media did not arrive at the pre-feed sensor (PS102) within the specified time." That usually means that the rollers fail to pickup the paper from Tray 2. Usually, cleaning the paper feed roller in the 500 sheet tray should fix this. While blowing out dust, you may have coated this roller with paper dust. A quick way to double check this is to power cycle the printer & try to print from Tray 1, the MP feeder tray (unless Tray1 has rarely or never been might be a little tempermental as well). Regardless, this error is very common & is usually fixed by cleaning. Depending on usage, this roller is considered a customer replacable item (Part # RM1-0037-000CN) with a life expectancy of more than 200,000 pages. There are 3 of that type roller in the printer, but the one in the tray is usually the 1st one to fail. Hope this helps!

Error 13.20.00

There is a paper feed sensor located behind Tray 1 where the tension spring gets knocked loose, therefore the sensor arm is still blocking the sensor. You have to remove all covers and the Tray 1 Assembly and re-install the spring which goes into a slot on the plastic frame.

You have to push in the photo tray~. Push until you hear it click...then it will print from the print tray and in turn, you will be able to print photos unto your glossy photo paper instead of the letter size paper.

HP Laserjet 1320 Paper feed malfunction

 take out the tray

if you look on the bottom of the machine there is a metal plate.

in the middle of the plate there is a bump

turn the tray upside down and look at the bottom, there is a small hole with a plastic lever. it is probably broken.

when the tray is slid into position the lever hits the bump and releases the lifting mechanism.

replace that part or the tray. I can get you a new tray e-mail me at
