Although you already reset you're phone I would like to post a solution for others to see. For anyone having this problem just go to settings>applications and tap the "All" tab. Scroll down to where it says "Touch Input" and tap that. Then hit "Clear dataand FORCE STOP." That should fix the problem

SOURCE: I have an HTC hd2

the problem is that your Touch Screen Digitizer is dying this happens to alot of HD2's from a year to about 2 and half years is when the issue starts to come to light. to fix it, it need to be replaced i suggest a profesional which can cost about 140 bucks or you can do it your self for 80$http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaaY0Dva8KQ

Htc vivid won't open text messages. How can I fix it?


try this

goto settings > applications > system applications > find messaging then force stop it !! ( you may not able to find that option but if you find do it )

if you just applied an update then goto htc website and tell them about your problem. that might be kernal problem. they'll help you to solve this.

Go to setting then go to storage then go factory data reset.... then your keyboard will come back on your htc vivid phone will come back cause i just did it

HTC Vivid won't turn on


1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.

My htc vivid froze while tuning on


i don't have a solution but I have the same problem right now and I want my phone to be fixed I got a new battery for it and it still doesn't work!! I just want my pictures and videos off my phone :(

Well,you should take the battery out. Charge it completely and then turn it on. If it keeps happening try getting a new battery or go to your carriers store.
