SOURCE: gateway cx210x notebook: screen flicering and becoming pinkish

hi there, it may be that your cable connecting your monitor to the computer is being wiggled loose. You need to leave this to the pros as this can't be explained over the internet. You need to bring it to a computer shop for them to reconnect the computer. Tell them that the monitor cable is being severed from the graphics card.

How do I calibrate the touch screen on a Konica 7165?

To adjust the touchscreen sensitivity, perform the following:
1. Power the copier OFF.
2. Access the Key Operator Mode (Power the copier ON, while pressing the [HELP] key).
3. Touch [10. Control panel adjustment] on the touchscreen to display the control panel adjustment screen. Note: If the touchscreen is so far out of adjustment that there is no response when touching [10. Control panel adjustment], the control panel adjustment can be accessed (at this point) by touching any numeric key on the 10-key pad.
4. Touch the + at the upper right corner of the touchscreen lightly with a touch pen (something with a round tip which is made of resin is recommended as a touch pen). Check the coordinates displayed in the top line at the top of the touchscreen.
5. Ensure the X coordinate and the Y coordinate displayed in the message area fall within the standard values. The acceptable values are on the second line.
6. If the values are not within the acceptable parameters, repeat Step 4 until the values are acceptable.
7. Touch the + at the lower left corner of the touchscreen lightly with a touch pen (something with a round tip which is made of resin is recommended as a touch pen). Repeat the process used for the upper right coordinate until acceptable values are achieved.
8. As verification of a correct adjustment, touch the [CHECK] icon at the upper left and lower right corners. You should hear a beep tone for each one. If a beep tone is not heard, repeat the adjustment.
9. Power the copier OFF/ON to exit the Key Operator Mode.

My HP tm2 digitzer pen suddenly stopped working but everything else is fine the touch screen still responds to my finger just not the pen. what could be causing this and how do I fix it?

First thing to try is re-callibrating your stylus. See if your system recognizes it. If not the next thing to try is installing this HP Stylus Driver SP48676 found in this posting
tm 2050er pen problem
It was difficult finding this driver pack. If you search under your model you will only get the original driver, you may need to cut and paste the following link into your browser window.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48676.exe

This link contains more helpful information but its links to sp48676.exe don't work.

If your stylus still doesn't work try the advice in the last comment in the thread by NickGl Student ‎01-28-2015 11:27 PM

I had the same exact problem as you and I finally got it figured out. Go to your task manager then to the services tab and scroll down to the task TabletInputService and you should see that it is stopped and when you right click and hit start you get an error message saying that it pretty much could not find any supported devices. So click the Services button in the bottom left corner of the task manager and find the task Table Pc Input Service and right click it and go to properties. Once you are in properties stay in the General tab and change the Startup type from disabled to Automatic and then apply the setting. You should now be able to start the Tablet Pc Input Service and the touchscreen and pen will work.
Hope this helps out someone being such a late post.

It sounds like the TouchScreen needs to be calibrated.

1. Hold down the Hint button while turning the Leapster on.
2. When the Leapster menu screen appears, press the A button.
3. Touch each of the crosshairs that appear with the stylus.
4. Restart the Leapster.

Hope this helps!

Touch screen not working

First thing you have mentioned you are using Nokia 70 which dont have the touch screen feature....

If your phone is not recognising the stylus completely, it means your touch screen is malfunctioning or it is broken from inside... you need to get the touchscreen changed.... i will not suggest you to change it your self as touch screen is very deligated....

Problem with the touch screen an stylus

Press the Up + Down buttons at the same time. This will turn off the "Digitizer" function on the tablet and allow the user to use their finger, the stylus, or blunt end of a pen.

The stylus pen works by pressure on the tip. Since the tc1100 uses an active digitizer, as soon as you come within range of the screen, the mouse should move (this is called pen-hover), however, if the tip is stuck upwards it will write or click instead just as if you were touching the screen.

Try carefully pulling out the tip using a needle nose pliers or your fingernails if they're strong, and then reinsert the tip gently. This should un-stick it. If this doesnt work, there may be an internal problem with the stylus.

HP problem with touchscreen Hello, did you solve your problem with touchscreen. I've had the same problem yesterday. could you help me please? thanks.

When you first begin using the PC, or if you have intermittent problems using the touch screen, you should calibrate the touch screen and set up the screen preferences.

NOTE: The touch screen works best if only the stylus, and not your hand, is touching the screen. If you rest the palm of your hand on the screen for comfort, you will have to press the pen more firmly onto the screen.
