You need to find out what sound card is installed and go to the manufacturer's web site to download the drivers. If it is a pre configured computer like Dell or HP you can go to the manufacturer's web site and download all the drivers for your specific make and model.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Open it back up and check to make sure you didn't accidentally pull one of the cables out.

Since you say that you accidentally deleted something, my money would be on the drivers. Does it work with external speakers?

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY

that could be right but thats something hard to guess... in this cases better to disconnect and check every part separately and find if any part smells like burned... if all is ok just connect it back and try... if you feel strange smells better go to a tech or report here but with specific info...

Dell sound problem

sounds like the virus is still in the computer. you have to get something like Mc Afee virus protection, or Symantecs Spysweeper to get rid of it, and then you should be able to reinstazll the driver. If this does not work, try doing a system restore to the date before this started happening. to do this, go start programs, accessories, tools/system tools, the rest is self explanatory.

Here is the download page for the Dimension 3000 (Windows XP): http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/devices.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&SystemID=DIM_CEL_3000&os=WW1&osl=EN Go to the audio driver page and assuming you have the built-in audio card this should take care of you. If you by chance have some other operating system here is the link that will allow you to select the correct one. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?
