Had to pull distributor while putting head gaskets on 1995 mercury sable 3.0 v6 now I don't know how to retime distributor

Get the number one cylinder to top dead center on the firing stroke. Insert the distributor so that the rotor is pointing to the #1 wire when it is in place. This should be enough to get it running again, if it will not start turn the distributor a bit one way or the other.....

Intake gaskets repaced. ignition timing offset.would like some illustrations, if possible to fix this problem.

What problem? You replaced the intake gaskets and got the distributor on the wrong cam tooth? Now the check engine light is on for cam/crank correlation? So you need to know how to retime the distributor?

I have a 99 chevy suburban v8 vortec engine 5.7.... had to change the distributor when it broke, now I am having a hard time putting it back in timing. looking for the firing order of the spark plugs for...

You will have to find out where number one is. But the firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. That is the firing order. 1357 is on the driver side, 2468 is on the passenger side. Start with 1 and go clockwise on the distributor.

Retime distribluter on 98 chevy truck

You will need to put it into base timing mode, should be a tan and white wire on firewall near distributor, then with a timing light you can set the timing, after you have set cylinder 1 at top dead center
