Question about SanDisk Sansa MP3 Player
I got my Sansa express two days ago. It seemed to be working fine--I loaded music on it and charged it. Now it doesn't turn on--I don't even get the "Sandisk" display like other posts that I have seen.
The player isn't recognized when plugged into the computer. A hard reset didn't fix the problem. It seems like the battery is dead and won't charge so the computer doesn't even recognize that it's plugged in.
Download and install the firmware updater.
If that doesn't resolve, your player may really have a hardware issue. The battery is not replaceable by the consumer. My reccomendation is to exchange it with the store. If that fails, redeem your warranty through Sandisk (hope you saved your receipt).
