Question about Haier Audio Players & Recorders
Can't get my Haier Slim Evoke soundbar to work with my Vizio 60inch vizio e601i-a3...i have the audio digital optical out(TV) hooked to the SPIF Optical In, I have the TV Audio turned to PCM and the power is on..I have tried turning off the internal speakers on the TV, but didn't help, I have powered off both units multiple time and have even switched out the optical cable (it does light up when plugged into the TV)...what am I missing???

If your audio system doesn't have optical inputs you're going to have to use RCA (red and white) jacks.
I would suggest upgrading to a system in the future that does have optical inputs if at all possible. Excellent sound.

This issue is actually caused by my cable box. Access the audio SETTINGS on Hand held Cable Remote, and turn on the HDMI and or "Digital Audio Out" option. found on 'more' settings list. This should fix the issue. I had assumed the Cable companeis 'Boot' would have installed this feature during its initialization.

Anyone with a new Vizio E601i-A3 60" or 70" HDTV that is
having audio "Lips out of sync problems" with a cable or satellite box.
On Comcast cable boxes (or others), here's what you need to
do: FIND MENU for AUDIO or HDMI setup on
