Question about LG 55LH40 55 in. LCD HDTV
TV turns on but says "no signal". Tried PS3 on different HDMI port - no signal. Tried HDMI outpuits on different TV, and the devices are working. It seems as though our HDMI ports took a dump. Any other reports of this?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

it sounds like a refresh issue, double check you selector and make sure it fits the refresh of the tv. i had this once with a sharp where the tv was 120hz and the selector was 60 and it created a no signal and when it did come in it was jumpy. if you have a 120 tv then selector should be the same.

Are you aware that all the new HDMI devices have interactive technologies . For eg: if you are watching cable TV and switch on your Blue ray player connected via HDMI, you will notice the TV will automatically switch to that HDMI input with you having to pick up the Tv remote and switch manually. Some find it irritating, but you can disable that function in your system Menu. Panasonic calls it Vierra link / Sony calls it Bravia sync etc.....

Unfortunately your TV is only HD ready. This means that it plays video in 720p. A full bluray disc is 1080p. Im afraid your tv will most likely not be able to handle a bluray player.
Hope this helps

It is because the PC video resolution is too high for the TV to display, you need to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this TV, see you owner manual.
