Question about Denon AVR688
I have a Denon AVR-688, I have a PS3 and a Direct TV HD-DVR hooked up to it. Whenever it's receiving a Dolby Digital 5.1 signal the audio will frequently drop out kind of like a click or a skip. DTS sounds great but Dolby Digital has problems. I have tried other sources and get the same problem with Dolby Digital. Is there a setting that I've overlooked?
IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO CONNECT ANALOG AUDIO IN ADDITION TO THE OPTICAL, COAXIAL OR HDMI AUDIO CONNECTION. IF USING OPTICAL OR COAXIAL CONNECTIONS BE SURE TO CONFIGURE IT IN THE RECEIVERS DIGITAL ASSIGNMENT AREA IN SETUP.
ALSO, ON THE FRONT OF THE RECEIVER IS AN INPUT MODE BUTTON, PRESS THIS BUTTON UNTIL AUTO IS DISPLAYED
