Only 3.10 MB free out of 28.9 GB. C: has more space I already cleaned using disk space .Is that anything to do with one key recovery option in Lenovo. If so can u suggest me how to use it
30GB is nothing now a days. It may be time to expand, with an external USB drive. You can now get drives for as low as .10 cents per GB. Meaning a 500GB is around $50 bucks. A nice one with no external power more like .15 a GB making 500GB about $75.
Not the answer you were looking for, but there it is...

you need the proper recovery cds or a vista cd
to reload on hard drive
I'm guessing the harddrive you added came without vista on it
those cds hold the drivers which then get installed to the harddrive.
do you know anyone you can borrow a vista cd from
otherwise i would suggest waiting for toshiba to send you your disk

Hi there.
If you just want a recovery disk them i may have a simpler solution for you.
Go to this website and read all the instructions, download the recovery disk you need after you have installed a torrent client, it may take a few hours to download depending on your connection speed.
Full instruction on software you will need is there on the site.

Music, video and pictures use the most hard drive space. Store them on a disc or on line storage site. After the delete or removing as advised, defrag you hard drive. This should free up space. Get rid of any programs you don't use. As long as you don't delete hidden files you should be fine. Hope this helps. If you are using windows XP go to start, control panel add and remove programs and delete only the programs that you installed and remove only them.
