Question about Toshiba Satellite M35X-S114 Notebook
All other devices in household (smartphones and desktop computers) are able to access internet and browse web without error but laptop will not. Laptop shows connected to comcast wireless service and web browser does open but I receive an error that the webpage cannot be displayed and an error that states internet explorer cannot open search page.
Go to Start > Search (Run in XP) and type cmd ENTER. In the command prompt type ipconfig /release ENTER. Then type ipconfig /renew ENTER. This just refreshes your IP. Test it. You should have an IP within the same scope as the others.
If not, test with cable for further testing.

SOURCE: Can not display web pages
I suggest you a very efficient solution. Check all Internet Explorer settings of another laptop and do same settings in your this Toshiba laptop. If even then its not working then it may be hardware problem.
