Question about Fujitsu AMILO Computers & Internet
I am attempting to fix an old Amilo li 3710 laptop. When turned on, the computer checks the CD drive, and then loads the Fujitsu splash screen, and will not go any further. Pressing any of the function keys, esc, tab or del at this point just makes an error beep.Unfortunately at the moment I don't have access to alternative keyboards (I've seen it recommended to try a PS2 keyboard). I also do not have the recovery disks (and besides, the product key sticker is scratched so it's not fully legible). If anyone has suggestions about what might be wrong, I'd be open to thoughts.
To get to the Bios you need to press the F2 button during the Fujitsu Splash screen.
If all you get is beeping, then it sounds like a bad keyboard on your laptop (could be a stuck key). If an external keyboard does the same thing. I would reset the cmos (unfortunately the laptops have their cmos sodered on, theres youtube videos on how to do it for laptops)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
