Question about JVC Car Audio & Video
My JVC Kd-r310 Car CD/ MP3 Player wont turn on. it work fine previously. than it went into fast forward and would not resume normal play. i had to remove the face plate to get it to stop. when the plate was restored the plate lite up, but it not allow any functions on the plate. volume eject nothing worked. it played the cd previously installed, but would not allow the cd to eject. i pressed the reset button, and now the face plate has no power. what can i do?

Hi. your radio has 2 power wires. A red one and a yellow one (with most decks) It sounds like your radio is getting only constant power but no "key on" power. Check your radio with the key on you should have power on both the red and yellow wires. If you are missing power on one of the wires theres your problem. If you have power on both wires then there is something internally wrong with your radio...

I had this same problem and realized after reading the manual that this model does not play mp3's. They use the same manual for the g140 and the g240 (the model which plays mp3s).
