Motor should be a standard dc motor that produces 1.5 to three volts. As a rule most crank flashlights will give you a 10/1 ratio (crank one minute, shines for 10. Hope this answers your question.

Treamill wont move with wiehg ton belt

Drive belt may not have adequate tension, motor brushes may be worn out, tread tension may be too tight, one or more of the control devices may have failed, the power to the treadmill is inadequate.

Drive belt can be viewed with the motor cover removed. If it slips, adjust tension until static belt delfection is about 1/8 inch.

If motor halts with load and belt does not slip, adjust the tread tension by turning the track tension bolts counter clockwise 1/4 turn at a time, both adjusters evenly. If no improvement 1 full turn in, check motor and or control board.

if tread adjustment does not help, check the brushes to make sure they are not hanging up in the holder. Remove the plastic caps that retain the brush inthe motor with treadmill unplugged, If they are 1/4 inch in length or shorter- replace brushes. If the motor does not have brushes, it is an AC type motor.

If brushes are fine, check motor voltage with an analog voltmeter- AC range if you have the open frame AC type of motor where you can see the windings (no brushes) and measure voltage on theboard terminals that go to motor. They should adjust from zero to at least 80 volts via the speed control knob. If the AC motor hums a great deal, replace the motor run capacitor.

If you have the DC motor, (usually about the size of a 1 liter bottle.), Check voltage range, it should have the same voltage range as above with meter set to DC range.

If in either case the motor moves fine, but full speed on control does not yield full motor speed, check the devices, usually SCR or Triacs on the AC motor type and MOSFETS or IGBT on the DC motor types.

How to test the motor of a floor polisher

Testing the motor of a floor polisher is like checking any motor of an appliance. Since the model was not specified and if this is a brush type then you can check for faulty brushes. You have to check the voltage to the motor when the switch is ON , if not the motor can be tested using a bench circuit protected unit. If there is a short it will trip other wise you can find the fault of not working to be associated with a faulty brush or a winding or poor commutator.
If this is a brushless type then check the capacitor, check the capacitor with a mains circuit for shorting, if not parallel one of the same type and see if the motor works. also you can check the winding of the motor.

My motor is:Part.Num.6-348524-04,FR:F215T 7.5HP 230volts 1P;What means Type CP and Code H ?

In the US, the motor industry has worked on a standardized basis for labeling the potential performance/ characteristics of a motor. I have noticed at our repair business that Imported motors, depending on country of origin, have many different designations. For example, the stock number that you list includes a (fr:) reference. In the US, this would be listed as (FR frame, or frame type) which refers to various external components of the motor relating to mounting etc.. Code could/usually refers to insulation class of windings relating to highest temperature the motor can endure. Codes for temp are (B,F,H) and others. (Types) of motors usually indicate/ relate to torque-speed curves, rpm, capacitor start, capacitor start and capacitor run etc. Unfortunately I could not find reference to your motor, however, you can probably guess at the capacity of your motor by the application. ex. motor to turn a large fan vs a motor with high start torque requirements for air compressor (inforation needed if you were going to replace a burned motor). More information can be found by reading about "NEMA and IEC standards for motors" Good luck.
Standard for Motors
torque-speed curves for motors with NEMA Design A, B, C, and D characteristics.

I want to change the carbon brushes, what type are the screws that hold thd the brush casing to the motor?

The screws are normally a pozidrive type, so you will need a pozidrive screwdriver.
Having said that, there ihas been more than one type of motor fitted to this model,
and one type does not have screws securing the brushes, they are clipped in place, so you will not know until you remove the motor from the washer.

I purchased a varible speed controler to use on my 1/2 hp AC electric motor. I sure now that a got the wrong type (dc) not an AC type. It blow the fuse in the speed contol and made the motor buzz; wrong...

most drill presses use a capacitor start motor with internal switching . a variable speed control will not work most rely on step pulleys for speed control. possibly you could have blown your capacitor

My brushes on my aquarius wma54 need replacing, where is the motor and how do i change the brushes.what type of motor is it

The motor is located at the bottom rear of the washer.
Remove lower rear panel, unplug lead into motor,, remove earth wire.
Remove 2 bolts holding motor to drum, lever motor away from you to remove.
Brushes are located at the end furthest away from the pulley.
There has been more than 1 type of motor fitted to this model, so until you remove the motor, you will not know which brushes you need.

We have one of your walk in freezers. One of the inside fan motors quit working. It is a Fasco motor mod-71639383---type-u63---1550 rpms---hp1/20. Do you have it? DooLittles Restaurant--Arnie Jennings/...

Fasco makes bunches of these types of motors. Call Rick at Restaurant Parts and More. Have motor in hand and I'll bet he can match it with one of the Fasco "Over the counter" type motors. I use them all the time and am very successful with them.

My hotpoint aquarius 1100 model number WM63P needs new brushes, do i want the FHP motor type or the GDA motor type ?

Your model of washer could have either type of motor fitted.
It is a FHP motor, it will say so, if it is a GDA motor, you will find no name on it.
Also the FHP type brushes are in holders that are secured by screws, whereas the GDA motor carbons are push in type holders, so it should be easy for you to identify which type is fitted.
Please rate my comments.
Thankyou.
