If cartridge insertion is difficult, perhaps the wrong cartridges are being used? Or if you are using compatible cartridges, sometimes they are slightly larger than the originals, which can make insertion difficult

I turn on smart cycle extreme and only half screen comes on with green color, but it doesn't start the program. Please help!

Clean the cartridge connection with Isopropyl alcohol. Also clean where the cartridge is inserted (an old toothbrush works the best). This corrected the issue for me.

Printer test page shows no ink even after replacing all cartridges

This could be an extremely simple issue or a technical one.

My first suggestion would be to clean the contacts where the Ink Cartridge touch the seat in the printer.

Take out the print Cartridges and look to see where the device make contact. Try cleaning them off with a lint free towel and some rubbing alcohol. Another method is to actually use an eraser to clean off the leads. Generally older printers just end up wearing away the contacts and the printer has trouble seeing the Ink cartridges.

Also, sometimes using no name cartridges can cause issues as well. Verify that the plugs or covers on the Cartridge were removed properly.

Sadly, it is very difficult to repair printers and is generally not cost effective.

I wouldn't spend to much money on it as the general life cycle for a printer is 1-2 years these days.

Good luck!

How to change the ink cartriges - 2 pcs? It is very difficult? I cannot find the right position for the cartriges while installing?

Open printer cover and wait for cartridges to be positioned on the left side. Press down on cartridge at the half moon shaped ridge. Take out cartridge. Insert new cartridge in the same position as the one you took out. Press upward until cartridge snaps into place. You are done.

Cannot remove moen sink cartridge removed retaining clip but cannot pull or unscrew cartridge

MOEN cartridges can be EXTREMELY difficult to remove sometimes. Be sure the horse shoe clip is out. Then you can use a crescent wrench and carefully turn the cartridge, once you get the cartridge to turn a little you can try to pull it again. They actualy make a tool to pull these. They run around $10 at your local home improvement store. The tool takes the place of the crescent and puting the handle back on to pull it. Hope this helps.

How do I disassamble my one-handle kitchen faucet?

First ensure you have shut the water supply off at the stops- the small valves located underneath most plumbing appliances. Since we are speaking generically my comments may be a bit different depending on make and model. Most single handle faucets have a snap on cover over the base where the handle connects to the valve base. Pop this cover off and it will expose a screw that holds the handle onto the valve cartridge. You will need to remove this screw this will expose a nut/retainer that holds the cartridge in place- remove this item. Now will be able to pull the cartridge out using a pair of pliers. If the cartridge will not come out most home repair stores sell a cartridge extracting tool. This tool is a tee handle device that screws into the cartridge and has a nut that one tightens to break the cartridge free of the valve body. Some extreme cases will require some extreme pulling and snatching on the Tee handle to get the cartridge out. I personally dry the interior of the valve body a apply a thin coat of grease/lubricant to improve the service life of the new cartridge. Hope this is of assistance to you and thanks for using Fix Ya. If I can be of anymore assistance please let me know.

Cartridge cradle stuck

Hey chips 53 Very simple, Go to the market and purchase a set of screw driver of long sleek neck (for star screw). and open the four screw present four different side in the printer. After open the screw, open that door, from where you insert the cartridge. insert your hand into the printer and lift the portion upside. Remember you have to lift equally (but slowly-slowly) if you see that the upper body is separating, you have to concentrate to lift the portion from right side because wires has been attached left side. After removing the upper portion you can easily move the carriage. And do what you want
