BIOS PASSWORD REMOVAL

MY TOSHIBA SATELLITE NOTEBOOK A 135 WAS PURCHASED BY ME IN 2007. THREE MONTHS BACK IT FROZE. WHEN SWITCHED OFF AND RESTARTED IT IS ASKING FOR BIOS PASSWORD. TOSHIBA CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISED ME TO CONTACT THEIR SERVICE AGENT - HE SAYS THAT BILLING IS $95/HR MINIMUM HALF HOUR WHILE MAXIMUM IS INDEFINITE!
UNCONCERNED WITH WARRANTY PERIOD THE MANUFACTURER HAS TO FIX THE PROBLEM LEGALLY SINCE IT IS NOT WEAR AND TEAR OR MISUSE. I NEVER ASKED FOR 'SECURITY' -WHETHER I LOSE IT OR KEEP IT IS MY CONCERN-WHY SHOULD THEY KEEP THE SECURITY HURDLE BEYOND WARRANTY -TO ROB ME?
IS THERE ANY LEGAL FORUM TO TAKE UP THE ISSUE? I AM ELECTRONIC HOBBYIST OF PROFESSIONAL QUALITY CAN I ATTEMPT TO FIX BY MYSELF BASING ONLINE TIPS?

THANKS FOR THE SOLUTION. I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY FIXED BY FURTHER IMPROVEMENT.
I SET MY DIGITAL MULTIMETER TO DCMILLIAMPS-POSITIVE PROBE AT at " U " meaure the current in the CMOS battery by keeping negative probe to chasis(1/4"post). Descending range of AMP
used. -ve current also measured at 1st pin(of ZIPPER) -continuously till current is nil(AMMETER discharges current safely without damaging any part) Intermittently check DCvolts also till it is ZERO. That's ALL. This is better since direct DISCHARGE may accidentally damage any IC.

The BIOS password maybe able to be removed provided this laptop had a LPT printer port.

How to remove the cmos or bios password and want to remove the password in booting up, my laptop is toshiba satellite a135-s4527

The BIOS password is removed by the BIOS configuration, you need the BIOS password to get into the BIOS configuration. But if you do not have the BIOS password then you need to construct this dongle device.
TOSHIBA BIOS PASSWORD DONGLE
You can build a dongle that plugs into the printer port.Purchase a 25 pin male D sub connector and solder insulated wires to the various pins as listed below. The pins are numbered on the connector
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg this is a picture of the finished dongle

Wire the pins as follows :-1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15
Plug the finished dongle in the printer port and power up the laptop. The password will be reset, go into the BIOS configuration to check the BIOS password, you may have to disable the BIOS password.
