It sounds like there is a problem with the differential circuit. The bias I am not sure about, as every unit is different. You should get the service manual to be sure or call Denon and see if they can give you an idea. Good Luck

SOURCE: Denon DRA397 Panel lock on.
Denon has for some reason removed this function from their user manuals. However The manual does show how to do a manual reset of the unit. This may correct the issue.
With the Amp OFF but plugged in, press and hold the speaker A and B buttons and while still holding them press the POWER button. Continue to hold the speaker buttons for another second or so. The display should all light up and flash at 1-second intervals. If not flashing, try again.
This should reset the unit back to factory state with the front panel lock disabled.

its the main amp in your unit. Depending on the construction the main amp can be an IC (Integrated Circuit) or discrete components. Anyway, the protective relay protects your speakers from being destroyed. When a main amp breaks down it normally outputs DC voltage. DC voltage is not good at all for a speaker.
You need to replace all the defective components in your unit before the unit will be up running again.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

I had the same problem. The system from the factory does not ship confgured for continuous subwoofer output. To fix this, do the following:
1. Enter the system menu.
2. Go to "Speaker Setup"
3. Select "Bass Setting"
4. Change the setting from "LFE" to "LFE+Main"
That should do it... You can also see this information in the "Bass Settings" section of the product manual on page 26.
