I've just purchased a colby mp300 and loaded several songs from my itunes library onto it. When attached to the computer, I can see and play each of the songs downloaded. However, when I remove the mp3 player from the USB port of the computer and turn it on to play my music, I get a message saying "No File". What can I do to hear my music?

Not the correct format to coby to play. Check extensions ... should be mp3.

I have this player and it works great! Try pressing and holding down the "M" button and it will get you 2 the menu. Use arrow keys to select diff options and to look to see what is on your player go to select file I believe its called. You need only MP3 and WMA. Must not be DRM (Copy Protected) you dont need itunes, download cd's or music through bit-torrent, or support itunes if you wish to pay depending on your country's rules. must be correct format, will not play free format mp3's which are over 320kbps. Check manual very helpful, you can get it at http://www.cobyusa.com/files/manuals/MP3... hope this helps you all. Cheers!

Playing itunes music on pny usb

did you sync iTunes with your flash drive ?

Launch iTunes.

Connect your media player with SanDisk memory card installed to your computer through its USB adapter.

Wait for the player's device icon to appear in the iTunes Source pane.

Drag and drop music titles from the library pane directly onto the device icon.

The music will sync onto the player's SD storage.

hope this helps

How to download music on a iphone 3g?

there are several ways you can download and put music on your iPhone 3G

1.-Purchase songs in iTunes directly on your iPhone (this will cost you money and require you to create an iTunes account,if you download apps, you already have one).

2.-Insert a CD into the computer you plug your iPhone to, open the CD with iTunes, and rip the contents of the disc into iTunes (iTunes has a tutorial for this if you need further information), sync your phone with your iTunes on the computer and the songs will be added to your song library in your phone.

3.-You can use a P2P (peer to peer) sharing program ex. Frostwire, Winamp, eMule, to download the songs onto your computer. Take note of what folder these downloaded songs are being sent to. In iTunes, select File>add folder to library, a window will open, select the file where the downloaded music is located, and iTunes will add it into the music library in iTunes. Sync your phone with iTunes and the downloaded songs will be added to the music library on your phone

Why can't I get itunes music onto this thing

You have to drag and drop songs from your itunes library. It also helps to place the music in different folders. When you plug the player into your computer, it should ask if you want to open the files on the player. Do this, then select to make a new folder. Open the folder, (there should be nothing in it.) Then drag the songs from your itunes library to the open folder of the player. When finished dragging songs, make sure to close the folder on the player, then to safely eject it from the computer. All songs purchased from itunes are in AAC format. You will need to convert the songs to mp3 format before dragging them to the player.
Hope this helps. This is how I get songs onto my mp3 player. Itunes is so much easier the windows media player.

I just purchased songs and they wont play on my pc. oher music still plays.

You may need to move them from the Purchased area in iTunes into your iTunes Library. Try the following:

1. Open iTunes.
2. Select the Purchased icon located under Store.
3. Press either Ctrl A (on a PC) or Command A (on a Mac) to select all the songs within this window. Alternatively you can
  • Depress you Shift key whilst you click each song. OR
  • Depress your Ctrl key (PC) or Command key (Mac) whilst you click each song.
4. When the songs are selected, use your mouse to Click & Drag the selected items into your iTunes library or a folder within your library.

I hope this solves your problem. Regards,
