but from -5x3 and on yes. Mode-5-4, and insert coefficients.

Unfortunately, I found there is no "solution." I called Casio and was told that there is no way to change that format on this model.

The Fix sign on the top of the screen (smaller size) are indicators that calculator is using the FIXed format: All numbers are displayed with a fixed number of decimal digits (in you case it may have been set to 9 decimal digits). You can change that in the setup.
The Grad symbol means that the angle unit is set to grad. This too can be changed to degrees or radians in the set up.
A sure way to achieve mastery of calculator use is to learn how to configure it to fit the types of calculations to be performed.

At the top left of the calculator, you will see a sliding switch that is labeled: DECIMAL A,0,2,4,6,F. Move the indicator to the "0". This will remove all excess zeros. The numbers represent how many decimal places the screen will show. I have the manual for this calculator if you need it. LBrown18062@hotmail.com
