Question about Kyocera Mita KM-4035 Printer
Posted by Anonymous on
I had the same problem "One or more software installations have failed", until I realised the Kyocera driver download was a zipfile, and I'd tried running setup from Windows explorer's extension (zipfile preview). When I unzip the file, then run setup, setup finds its supporting files and I no longer get the error. Doh!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The km 2050 was on network, but moved to home and directly into tower system via usb interface connector. Printer works, but can not get scanner to work? read instructions without a clue. can someone help with correct proceedure?

if copies and printouts are the same then do the following... if only copies then change your scanner lamp
make sure you are using kyocera toner... empty developing unit and run sim mode 131.... make sure that you have changed the transfer assy.... thats the black roller on the door... also play with sim mode 101....

MK is the maintenance kit. You can check the Kyocera site to find out where to get a new kit and how much they are:
Most of the time the message is just displayed because the machine has reached a certain number of pages, but it should still let you use it normally.

use the generic print driver in mac and tune it with this tutorial also set the press printer on the copier and set emulation to kpdl auto... also see if you can make the driver spool...
if that doesn't work... then try moving a zipped 10 mb file from one pc to another on your network... make sure one pc or laptop is connected where your copier is... if you open the zipped file and its corrupted... then the problem isn't your copier... its your network...
