Question about Gateway Computers & Internet
I was using my laptop while in bed. Was watching TV episode and all of the sudden the power went off. I have since tried to turn back on. The only thing that happens is the battery light flashes red.
I would assume since the fan was cover by my blanket I have caused damage but I am not sure how bad.
Any thoughts and/or solution?????
Thanks for any help you could provide. Michelle
Check the fan vents... if they are clear of dust and lint. If there is some it may need a cleaning inside also.
Since the battery is light is "red" remove the battery. It could have been over heated or shorted outinside.
If it dont power up at all with only the AC adaptor (removing the battery) then try the reseting the "Reset" button under the unit.
